Why does my car not have a dimmer switch.

Howdy,
after trying to find the dimmer to turn up my dash lights ( cause they dont seem to work ) i found out my car does not have a dimmer switch. :S
just a bit strange.

Your new one is a Type V so it doesn't have one.

And also your compliance place cut corners. Pretty sure if the car doesn't have one they have to fit one for compliance. That certainly used to be the case.

ive got a type-V same thing though i have a dimmer its a rolling dimmer and it doesnt work

might be a wire loose or a bulb that needs replacing then cheers.

Hmmn, that's odd... I thought all cars had a dimmer switch?

Ok I found the problem. I pulled off the trim around the cluster to get to the dimmer, found that for some reason or another the top plug was simply unplugged. I plugged it back in and works fine now. Looks nice when its fully lit up.
