Have been offered a set of 18x9 in 35 offset. Just wondering if they will fit ok on a Legnum. Have tried 18's before but only fitted with 225s. I am guessing these will need a 245 minimum?
Will sit a bit outside the front guards if you don't have flares, should be close to dead flush with the rears. A 225/40 or 215/45 stretched on would help with clearance.
I'm planning on trial fitting 17x9 +35s on my Galant ASAP to see for myself what offset I need, so if you can wait a little bit I should have some photos soon to show you how they will look.
Your profile indicates your car is a '99 so I gather its a facelift with the wheel arch flares. Should sit ok, this is how 18x9 +38 fits on a pre-facelift: and you'll have ~10mm of flare to cover it so should be sweet.

18x9 will fit ok, you'll want to run 225/40 tyres if you want to stay closer to stock rolling radius. 235/40/18 should be fine though and will fill out the arches just that little bit more.
