will stock evo enkie's clear brembo's on legnum or how wide do you go????

Yes they will. Any stock evo wheel from 6 (possibly 5?) up will clear brembos as they were equipped with them stock.

It's not so much the width but the spoke design and the offset that makes them clear brembos

What kind of rubbers needs to be with evo x rims 18*8.5 so it will spin freely.

225/40/18 would be quite streched I guess.
How wide tyres would facelift legnum eat without hickups?

will these fit over brembo's

18"x8" +35 5x114.3

Lari - 235/40/18's have been run on a few cars, but they are really close to fouling, and you will need to roll the rear guards.

Damo - they might, depends on the style of the wheel.

ill have to import them andfind out if they do because no one sells them over here

Sounds like you are in the same dilemma to me atm Damo.

Ask the person selling the rims if they would fit on an evo 8

i've got 235/40R18's on mine..

only issue is if i go any lower, i'll need the rear guards rolled, but my car is pretty low as is anyway. :)

I'd go 225/45 or 225/40 if you want them a little more stretched.

I'm looking for a set of cheap 225/40 18s to put on my 18x9s when they arrive.

i've got EVO IX Enkei's with 235/45R17 and they dont rub at all.. I've mildly rolled the rear and my car's lower..

So to run the list, my choice are:

225/45R17
225/40R17 (How safe is it for the tyre being stretch?)
235/45R17

Also, this is off topic so sorry but when lowering the car, what is the ideal springs? Lows or Superlows?

some tires manufacturers do make their tires stretchable.. like for some 215 can be stretched out to 9.5" wide rim which you would normally use 255 or the likes..

I have 215/45s on my Silvia, 17x9. So 225/40 on an 8 will be no problems at all, if you choose to go that way.

225/40/17 is smaller than the stock rolling radius and I wouldn't do it. 225/45/17 is ok, and 225/40/18 is also ok.

I have some Enkei tarmac evos for sale on here that clear brembos if you are interested....
