Hey boys & girls

Thought i'd make a quick intro here to say hello to you all.
I bought myself a Feb '00 build Galant VR4 sedan earlier in the year. From my understanding of these cars, this example is a post-facelift type V (as there's no his-vis instrument cluster etc) however i was chasing a post-facelift manual sedan so it doesn't worry me. It's proven itself to be a pretty reliable daily, only thing which needed sorting were the front rotors as there was a fair amount of shuddering at 80kp/h+ braking. Has anyone else had this issue?

The photo below was taken a while ago in McLaren Vale. As you can see it's just a bog-stock silver sedan so it really blends in nicely with general traffic (after all you can't get any more anonymous that silver!) so to the untrained eye it's just another lancer/magna vr-x thingo with a factory body kit.

Uh oh, another bloody Steve in a Galant - just what we need!
:P Welcome, any plans for the car?

Welcome Steve

nice pick up, they are a pretty nice sleeper

sounds like your front rotors need machining and/or a wheel alignment is in order perhaps

welcome. whats your thoughts on r34 gtr rims?

Welcome Steve, yeah r34 GTR rims and 3 inchs from the ground are a good combo.

Hi Steve, it's Jon from the cordia days. The car looks nice and clean!

Thanks for the welcome guys!
Plans for the car at this stage include installing my stereo & speakers into the car (the current aftermaket headunit that came with the car is hideous!) and also to fix a niggling issue with the remote locking system.
Speaking of which, i tried starting a thread in general about my issue with the remote locking, and it won't let me post a new thread for some reason. Why would this be?

Already machined the front rotors; has been all sweet since.
