Well, i was scrolling ebay and came across this Legnum. ended up having a bid (gamble) and winning.
Love the idea of AWD and Twin Turbo and always loved wagons.
So now i am in the process of getting it on the road.
Hey mate and welcome to the club.
This is going to be the beat place to find the parts and info you will need to get this bad boy back on the road, if you haven't already you will need to become a Premium Member to get full access to the info and functions of the forum.
I am not sure how badly damaged it is but from the pics it looks like it will likely cost you more to fix it than it would have to buy one in top shape ready to go. It won't be cheap or easy, or quick (unless you are a panel beater yourself)
Hopefully we can provide you with with enough advice to help you make the best decision on what to do with the car before it eats up too much money.
If you are wondering why you can't post a new thread somewhere, it's because for full access you need to be a Premium Member ($15 a year): http://www.ozvr4.com/account/upgrades
Thanks, i have driven the car 300km, drives like a dream.. well maybe i was dreaming from all the fumes the exhaust filled the car with lol
I am not a panel beater, a friend of mine is, its going to be 6 - 8 hours on the jig... cost... Couple of Slabs..
I need to find a tailgate b4 that can happen, it came with a rear bumper. that is all the damage fixed, then its going to be getting a RWC
Need a Front bar aswell
My goal is to have it on the road for 2k, reg in 600, so 1400 on parts and labour,
May have high hopes, ill let u know how i go
Best of luck with it mate . Your mate will be very handy to have on board.
tailgate and rear bumper are straightforward enough of a job.
The photos to me looked like the 1/4 was busted along with the beaver panel and the tail Light too, I KNOW how expensive wagon 1/4s are to replace
I am keen to see how you go, I wish you luck and success, glad to hear it drives fine too, you will love it when its going in one piece.
the tail light was knocked of and just the plastic where the screw went in broke, fixable... the 1/4 is slightly rippled. 1400 is just a on the road price... there will be imperfections
Welcome to OZVR4! While I wouldn't attempt a project like this, I wish you the best of luck with it. As Akys says, there seems to be a fair amount of legnum parts available at the moment.
I have a rear ended wagon aswell. Tailgate has a little bit of damage but I think it would suit u well. As it is fixable.Somehow the transport may take the cheapness out of it. Let me know if ya have trouble finding 1. Try and help ya out
