SA Ben, and his Roanne Red Galant!

Hey guys!

This previous weekend gone I made the trip from SA to VIC to check out the Galant that i'd had my eye on for a few weeks. Safe to say it didn't dissapoint, and it was driven back to SA on sunday with a friend.

Bloody cold staying in Ballarat, it was -3... something that us Adelaidians do not get, ever

Many of you know this car already, but i'll show you some photos (still on vic plates for the moment but that's about to change...

I'd also like to make a special mention to Jim, who made the entire process of ultimately purchasing this car very easy. Couldn't have hoped for anything better

Some mods that you guys may or may not know about:

LPG conversion
16-14-12lb tune, makes 181kW on premium.
3 Port Boost Solenoid
18" Enkei Racing Line RC5 wheels in a bronze/gold colour
Bilstein Shocks and Springs ~40-50mm lower than standard
Evo 8 MR BOV
Upgraded front mount Intercooler.

Good to see the car back in S.A.

Welcome Ben, nice pick up! Im confident its still the only Roanne red in the country and I still love that colour and mag combo!!

I owned it before Jim and kinda wish i had kept it and sold my legnum It drove so well with those bilsteins in there - but enjoy it, Ill keep an eye out for it when im back in SA

Im sure you'll see me around, its hard to miss! Definitely going to make it to the next AJD with a group of my friends, now that i have a worthy car!

Just planning some small changes for the moment, things like the radio, speakers, etc. Might tee up something with the headlights, and potentially get a new rear bar, and the paint imperfections fixed.
Have to see how we go

Saw you drive past a bit later on while we were on O'Connell Street, sounds good as well

Thanks mate! Likewise I'm glad you're happy with how its turning out.

I've changed the exhaust around a little, which I think was a good move. Had Adam from AT performance make me a nice fancy stainless jobby from the axle back. I think it sounds great

I noticed that, I had a conversation with Jim about that when I bought it! I think he got rid of them because of all the issues he had with getting the roadworthy, and he just wanted the car in a stock-ish state after all the troubles.. at least it gives me a nice side project to do on the weekends
