hello fellow galant owners.... im not from australia, but decided to join u guys anyways... im from the US, unfortunately we dont get 8g vr4s here in the states,so we have to settle for the regular versions,,,, anyways,glad to have finally joined, heres some pics of my car....

It does look very good, why have you put the rear parking sensors in? They are the only things I don't like!

thanks for the compliments guys..... well, i have basic bolt ons thats go on the 6g72, with a 75 shot of nitrous.... its a daily driver, not a show car.. i just graduated college and now I have time to do something with the motor, because its my only car and i need it to be reliable....so reliability would have to be a key factor in whatever future plans.. ,.i basically did evertyhing on the car, i did the interior,painted my kit,molded the screen on the dash, etc..yea the front headlights and rear taillights are vr4 ones, as the fender flares as well... i belong to www.thegalantcenter.net , if u guys would like to check it out, .. we really look up to u guys that are lucky to have the real vr4s in ure hands lol... this is basically how the cars look straight from the factory here in the states....(pics)

I love the look of those body kits, have seen them on eBay for very reasonable prices, be nice if someone in Oz could do them for a similar price.
Seriously smooth looking wheels mate, and you know I kinda wish the VR4's were released in the states also, cause I'd bet u there'd be several bolt on turbo packages to choose from by now.

The stock USDM's are so ugly...every time I see one I cringe, then I think of the 9G / 380 and cringe even more!

Pedro, welcome and thougth i'd tell you... you've got one of the finest looking galants i've seen, also I'm a member in TGC for quite some time now.. been using your car and the other fella, as my guide to styling.. (can't remember his car - I think he's got 4G64 - 63 Head and turbo in pearl white and jdm front end conversion and also replaced his roof with CF..

anyway.. glad that you made your way here..

some quickies..

1. I've been chasing up some EGR roof visor but haven't been lucky... I've rang/emailed EGR Australia and said they only supply it to distributors and don't sell to public.. they suck and they're in AUSTRALIA..

Any way you US guys can help out with supplying some of them EGR Visors and probably some other stuff?

2. what suspension do you use for your car? any possibilities of some pictures? Just wanna see if how the USDM Galants are setup, been wanting to compare it to the JDM ones..

i got the roof spoiler from a member on the galant center when there was a group buy going on. i believe they are made in australia , but alot of members on tgc are having a hard time finding them anywhere.... i dont know whethere the company EGR is still in business either, u guys might wanna check ebay from time to time there is always one or two for sale

yea if i hear of a group buy going on on tgc or if i can get my hands on one or a couple ill definately let you guys know.. my suspension is ground control coil overs with kyb agx shocks, im trying to get a hold of some Tein coil overs with edfc soon though...
