Disengauging rear diff/wheels

to remove the rear diff because it is broken, or to convert it to fwd?
If your AYC is dead, you can just remove the fuse from the engine bay and drive the car normally.
If you are trying to remove the diff, just undo the supports for the driveshaft, drop it out, then remove the rear subframe and take the diff out with it.
If you want to convert to fwd, for one it is a dumb idea, and two, you'll need to weld the transfer case up, which isn't a smart idea either because the mod is obviously not reversable

Im trying to find out for my machanic. I live in the sticks and there are only 2wd dynos here. I have no intentions of keeping my car 2wd its just for tuning.i know this sounds a bit silly but if its easier than driving 400km for a tune i would like to find out.

your 2wd tune whilst may be perfect will not be the same when converted back to AWD, drive the distance and do it right
