Ditching the factory ATF cooler and going only aftermarket

Hey guys what size are the barbs and hose on our transmission inlet and outlet?

Not pretty, but very easy to fit, thats the battery surround it is next to, and some dodgy projector plugs I STILL havent tidied up.

What size cooler do we need to run if we are running only one? I think I have the V6 rated one from supercheap, davies craig.

Top is out from the transmission, bottom is the return. If you are using an external cooler, now you can fully do away with the one in the radiator and rip out all the associated spaghetti piping. Makes it much cleaner in there. And I just ran a short hose between the radiator cooler inlet and outlet to catch any drips but no need to block them up.

Hi, Um, is that photo correct, I used it to see which way was in and out but didnt pay attention to which side of the thermostat you used...

This shows the fluid should go into the side with "Made in the USA" showing.
You have it the other way around? I'm confused...

Those instructions look different to their website and the info I had at the time I installed mine. Very strange.

that kinda looks like mixing engine oil with atf oil?
