Already booked in at a shop locally for around 2k for same color closed door with a bit of a pearl of my choice.

If this was in Melbourne and I was guaranteed the clear wouldn't peel. I'd snap it up too. Hope it turns out well. How much of it will they rub it back?

I've got friends with some $50k plus classic cars that go to this guys shop and gave me the recommendation, his jobs go from 1500 to 8000+ depending on the requirements. No shop signage, no advertising, works by referral only.. It won't be bare metal for that money but it'll be freshly done silver with a new clear and some pearl. I negotiated a cash price.
