My name is Daniel, im from Germany (Duisburg, NRW) and my drive is a Mitsubishi Galant V6 24V 2.5l (non TwinTurbo)



In Germany the Galant VR-4 is legendary, i´ve never found someone who can get a VR-4 to Germany......until now

In 2008 im plannig to import a VR-4
It should be a 98 or 99 VR-4 Type-S Sedan in black or triggermauve

Im interested to get the Dolphin front bumper too... but i really want to know what kind of material the bumper is, FRP or ABS!?

Thats a very nice looking car. There is one UK member that is living in Germany and driving his RHD VR-4 in Germany at the moment. Apart from that I don't know of any others.

its very expensive to import a vr4 to germany
you have to pay 10% duty and 19% taxes on the car and transportcosts,
you need an individual cetification for the car, an emissions test (2000€=3.357AUD)
a light test for traffic on the right side (900€=1.510AUD)
every part has to be registered in the carcertification (1000€=1.678AUD)

i could buy 2 additional vr4s for the money im paying for all the tests

but i have some friends... its much cheaper with their help.... "just" 2000€ for everything... except the taxes
