Hi Everyone,

Have been a silent member for a while....was unable to post.
Picked up my legnum in melbourne back in Feb, and drove it back up to my home town of Port Douglas, QLD

current mods since purchase:
boost controller
boost gauge
major service - all engine seals replaced
all alloy radiator

Planned mods
new fmic - gets hot up here
de-cat
vented bonnet - if fmic and cold air intake do not help with the temp on spirited drives
cold air intake
brakes
coilovers

Nice to be able to finally post.
Is there anyone up this way on here???i have only seen one other leggie in cairns
 
Great looking car mate, and a nice set of factory options.

Can I recommend investing in a trans cooler ASAP and installing that as per the guide in the how-to's section, the auto won't much like being in QLD on a roasting day!

Thanks Slinz... i put a trans cooler in when i replaced the radiator......forgot about that....also converted to HID too and a hks ssqv bov

Forum is great...have used it as a resource especially when i needed the major 100k service a few months back.
 
Did you manage to change the water pump when you replaced the timing belt

yes, changed water pump, thermostat, etc with the timing belt.
I researched on the forum here about the 100k service, and just got in touch with bill at ralliart in NZ. He posted everything over in a week. The hard part was finding a decent mechanic in my area.... Cairns Leading Automotive got the job, wasn't cheap but they did a great job, one of the guys owns an evo, so he was very keen to work on it.....they also only use motuls oils too.
i had them do a transmission powerflush at the same time!
 
The previous owner had the car serviced with Tech Sport in Bayswater....All the ayc stuff was just done before purchase....
I used to live in Mt Evelyn, vic, and man do i miss the roads there, Mt Donnabuang, Acheron Way, Black Spur, Lake Mountain Road, Kinglake etc etc etc.
Previous cars......to many dattos to list, tx3 turbo, rx7 s2.........so impressed with the leggie that the wife and i argue over who is driving....we may be considering buying another.
