On my face lift Legnum, is it normal for the outer driving light to come on and stay on while the indicator stalk is engaged? Seems odd to me, or is it just a Japanese thing?
Yeah im sure that's a normal thing with these cars, my FL Galant done the same thing when i put the left or right indicator the foglight outter light just stays on until the indicator comes off
Turning lights.
They only illuminate when the indicator stalk travels past the detent.
Be aware that they are disconnected during compliance and re connecting them is "technically" defectable even though Verada's and Statesmen etc have the same lights.
There was a thread on here that described why, something to do with the year of the ADRs that apply to our cars are different year to the of the Verada's etc.

That being said, I have mine connected and find em quite useful...
2000 Legnum Mint with 44589ks when I got it. Now with black leather seats. After 3 years of fun some terminal engine bay wiring issues raised their ugly heads and it died. I Now drive a 2002 Legnum and have retired the 2000 to spare parts duty.
Vaguely recall the compliance rule for our cars was due to forward facing light count exceeding a certain number...possibly. Don't quote me on that. Seems odd that I've seen this feature on Fairlanes and possibly Statesmans?
