My Old GC8 V's My New VR4

Thought I would put some pics of my old mild worked GC8 WRX and my new stocko VR4 Galant (same magz gotta love multifits but needs bigger profile tyres)

Definitely need some larger tyres. The rims look quite sunken, what width and offset do WRX's run?

im going to go with 17x7.5+45 or similar. wrx hav like +55 offset for stock wheels.

How do you rate your VR4 compared to your WRX?

lol yep thats the size for the rexy and yeah i like them too much to part this early in having them on to change them lol but yeah bigger profile and lower 1"1/2' and should suit it alot nicer...

well the rex hit alot harder in boost.... when it finally got past the lag stage lol but overall the galant is smother, more powerful, more comfortable, sticks to the road better.
but the rexy deff had better brakes that almost put u thro the windscreen when u hit them thanks to cross and drilled rotors, l loved the feel of no driver assist and how light and nibble it feels throwing it around the mountain and the feeling of when ur doing 200km it actually feels like 200km when the galant feels like ur cruisin at 100 when hitting limiter at 180km lol
but overall the galant is a much better car and once i do a few of my personal touches im sure it will more then out do the rexy in every way

lol i love having a mate who does photography hehe free shoots whenever and the different technics he tries always looks awsome

Galant looks good! What've you done to the VR4 so far? and what did you have done to the Rex?

I went the other way, from a Galant to a Rexy =P

lol well so far all ive done to the vr4 is boost gauge, boot controler T and rims but hopefully have frontmount, tranny cooler, catch can, rampod filter, possebly even 2 1/2" front pipes to 3" cat back with varex adjustable muffler ect done by powercruise in start september... but on the rex lets see....... 3" dump back exhaust with varex adjustable muffler, front mount intercooler kit, hks grounding kit, eboost street controller, greddy turbo timer, slotted and cross drilled rotors all round, 17" rims (now on galant love multi fits just need bit bigger profiles thats for sure), GT wing (cause i could ), chrome tail lights, painted manifold emrald green, and a decent soundsystem consisting of motoformula double din head deck (did pretty much everything), 500Watt 6.5" speakers in front doors, 1000Watt 6x9" in rear both sets running off 800Watt pioneer 4 channel amp (went pretty hard without the subs even lol) hmm thats all i can think of at the moment, i also did the head gaskit on it (never ever again!!!) in chassie thats when i decided instead of giving it the rebuild it deffinatly needed at 225xxxkm I traded it up for my galant lol

Got bored on the weekend and painted my stock rims gun metal gray and painted my calipers red as well as a couple of red park light bulbs.... i think they will do great for a while till i get some more mods done and can afford new ones
