When I get the car back in the next day or two I'll let you guys know for sure what the wheels are. But as I said, I don't think they're anything special. They'll be Blaaaaack soon enough anyway.
The carbon fibre one is quite nice-looking, actually. The grey ones came out in the later facelift models. I have the grey one, but the carbon one looks just as good. You could always paint it chrome like someone did on ClubVR4. Hehe.
ROH -- that's an OK brand, I thought? Be interesting to see how they look in black!
Thanks mate, same to you. I generally have a fairly decent grasp of car audio as I did the system in my previous car. But I do appreciate the offer and will definitely keep you in mind
I've got a battery box that should at least help tidy up the ghastly boot battery terminals. May rewire the sub and amp depending on how bad it is, or I'll at least tuck it away and tidy it up.
Got my car back and finally got a chance to put in a little time with it.
Was able to install a new battery box in the boot, so that the terminals are covered and tidied up the wiring a bit. I didn't re wire, and there's a lot going on in that area with the battery and everything for the amp and subs, but I made it as best I could.
Also for those of you asking about my wheels, I believe they're HR Racing wheels. I've never heard of them before, but there's a few of them for sale on Ebay, so I assume they're hardly a premium brand.
My Other project from today was to blackout the centre grill on my Leggy. I used Plastidip for the spray and also gave the VR4 badge a few new coats of red. I think it turned out great and looks pretty schmick! Hard to tell in the pictures what it looks like on the car, but I'll post a few staged shots from during the process.
Yeah in two camps about the plates. I like them because they've got VR4 on them (not sure about the NA???), but I also don't like NSW. I'll have to change them over to Qld plates when I register it to my name (gotta get time and cash for roadworthy and rego first - bloody interstate laws!).
