Hey bud, no need to change the ECU. Ours is tuneable quite easy. Since you are based in Sydney @TME_Steve is the man you should go see at Transformance Mechanical Engineering.

Also the stock airbox is also quite good too. If you are thinking of using a pod filter there is only one which our MAF sensor doesnt throw a fit with, can't remember what it is off the top of my head.

With what you are planning to modify you should be able to go upwards of 19psi and close to 200Kw at all 4 wheels.

If you are changing the bov to a recirculating type, best think about buying an Evo X one as our stock ones are prone to leak.
Have a browse through the forum sponsors/traders for parts first as they will generally give you the best deals.

Sam.

Also, are you sure it is a 1999? That shape is the Pre-Facelift (Different grill, no wheel flares, different tailgate). from late 1998 those got changed.

Welcome mate! Lots of helpful info on here for Premium Members to dig in to. Check out the guides and writeups (visit the guide and wireteup index thread) for lots and lots of handy tutorials!

In terms of body kits, to be honest, most of the guys on here love the look of the standard body kit and usually stick with it, maybe adding on a lip and spending the monet saved on body work on other areas of the car (suspension and power). Aftermarket body kits can be sourced from Japan though through Jesse Streeter (google) or Import Monster. There isn't much available off the shelf in Australia.

As has already been said, no need for a computer upgrade as the standard one can be tuned. With an intercooler, 3 port boost solenoid and a tune you will be able to have a nice fun ride!

Hey, welcome to the club! Has the major service been done on the car yet? Still good that you got one with such low kms.

Timing belt. If you don't have explicit evidence it has been done recently, 100k kms is the specified major service interval.
