Picked up some Redline fluids today - I'm sure most wouldn't bother buying this stuff off trademe, but it was about $20 a bottle (.9L) cheaper through BNT, just a warning! Heavy duty shockproof for diff and transfer case and their D4 ATF for the AYC clutch bath. If I still get donkey noises, I'll try a couple more changes then take it in for a full bleed if it persists.

All that's left for stuff I wanna get sorted ASAP is transmission cooler, air filter, fuel filter. Brakes could do with some better pads, fluid flush and braided lines but they are OK for now. The wallet needs a rest!

So many little things I would love to do - plugs, leads, rad hoses, exhaust, glass headlights, tyres for the Evo rims, some better suspension... will have to wait a little while. A masters student isn't exactly overflowing with $$$

Cheers dude - I'm a big fan of subtle mods so nothing major planned. These cars are incredible value for money - when people hear I paid 3 grand for this, they can't believe it, and others have done even better!

I actually went for a cane in this over the hill to your area about 2 weeks ago - great drive, but the AYC was groaning a bit so I had to ease off. Hoping a fluid change or two will sort it.

Yea definitely a great car. I picked mine up for $1000 with a blown diff but it's fair to say the last owner did some questionable "mods"

They sure are a great car's and sure can get them for a good price these day's, I like to think that I got my silver FL for really good price, Paid $2500 in stock form (But from ugly rims it had) with 143kms with ugly beige leather interior, It not so "stock" now but I've done all the mod's myself.
