As a Former VR4 owning Aussie now living in Vancouver, you’ve got me thinking...

1. Import VR4.
2. Buy dirt cheap Galant for $200 on Craigslist
3. Donor swap the LHD dash and steering gear into VR4
4. Enjoy driving an import on the ‘wrong’ side of the road while driving from the ‘right’ side of the road.

few things you need to consider when doing th RHD to LHD conversation (according to friends who's done it in Philippines)

Now that would be a fun time!

But why go through the hassle... What's wrong with driving a RHD car in Canada?

That was another thought I had to that comment, yeah it would be cool to do a LHD conversion but i think the uniqueness comes from it being a RHD vehicle in a LHD country.

Not only is it more unique having a RHD car here in Canada, most people will pay a premium as opposed to it being LHD. That aside, driving RHD in in a LHD country is really not difficult, barely a difference after a few hours of driving... I actually prefer it. I don't see the point. But to each there own, maybe it's a preference.

Exactly I personally own three RHD cars here in Canada, My Legnum, SG5 Forester and Nissan Silvia S15. I daily drove my S15 for 4 years until I started the build process for that one and have been daily driving a SG5 Forester for 9 months now. I completely prefer these cars over any North American options!

UPDATE:

The car has passed its out of province inspection, all it required was new tires and brake pads front and rear. Their was also a little bit of play in one of the tie rods so I had that replaced and had the car all realigned.

The car is currently sitting down at my importers shop waiting for me to go pick it up, hopefully will have it by the end of the month.

Here are two photos of it sitting waiting for me!
