Hey everyone,

Names Luke. Been observing for quite a while but have only really started posting recently. I drive a 2001 Legnum Auto in white with black RPF1's (if you're keeping an eye out). I'll put up a thread of my car soon once I get some decent photos.

I thought I'd take the opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone on the forums for their advice, knowledge and information. It's given me the confidence to do some work on my car that I never would have considered doing. It's definitely a great source for Legnum owners and the like! :)

Thanks, mookers!

The car had a tune and a cat back when I bought it nearly a year ago. Since then I've put 18x8.5 wheels on with Kumho KU36's and Tein coilovers. Just last weekend I overhauled the front brakes with slotted DBA4000's, EBC Red Stuff pads and Motul RBF600 fluid and braided lines. I chucked on the oval shaped K&N pod filter that seems to be the way to go for our cars which has worked well. This weekend I'll be fitting Cusco front and rear sway bars.

Apart from that, it'd sure be nice to have a turbo back :D

As for the pod filter from all the comments I've read they don't perform that we'll on our cars and the stock airbox setup works best with a good panel filter

I'm sure the spool up sounds great with the pod setup

oval k and n pods are Ok, although without a heat shield they let hot air in.

^ that. Stock airbox presents no restriction for most cars. Cold air makes more power.

Thanks guys.

I know the deal with the stock air box and after market pod filters. I thought I'd take the punt purely to get a bit more intake noise. The MAF sensor doesn't seem to mind it at all.
