So if you change the speedo, is the K's logged somewhere else or will it be reset with the new speedo?

As in, the chip registering the K's is within the actual original cluster, and not on a ECU type thing elsewhere?

The clubvr4 article shows it at 3km It is now up to 6000km or so. In NZ it doesn't cause issues, don't know about Aus.The speedo unit that the odo reading runs off is all one piece. I didn't bother to look into a way to get around it.

Its technically possible, but it'd take nothing less than an electronics engineer to figure it out from scratch, or if you spoke fluent Japanese you could probably find out how its done as its certainly not uncommon over there. You can probably buy a USB cable and some software to do it.
