Hi Everyone,

Has anybody considered / tried a split or parallel fuel rail setup? I know its a popular conversion in the subie world due to leaning out 3rd cylinder (i think).

I was just thinking it may be a better mod then the fuel rail loop?
cheers
-Phil

i didnt think fueling was an issue with our cars it was more spark side of things, then of course the head lifting

Yes its the best way of doing it. A loop is a bandaid fix where parallel feed rails eliminates the problem all together. See my build thread for pics of the rails I modify to do this

@6A13TT TYPE S do you screw as AN fitting straight into the rail?

I modify the rails in a lathe and then thread the ends of them with a M18x1.5 tap whoch lets me use a M18x1.5 to -6AN adaptors on the ends of the rails. To let me run -6AN fuel line.

Well I have started the journey of fuel rail modding

I took a standard fuel loop, hacked off the pipe and welded so AN6 steel bungs to them.
hopefully my ugly ass welds are sealed nicely and won't leak.

Hey mate, interested to see where you went from here. Currently considering doing the same thing. Cheers

As far as im aware there is no kit like this specific to our cars available.
This is all using aeroflow fittings and hose
