Ive been wandering around the threads a bit, bout time i introduced myself... My name is Rowan n Im from Sydney..... right now i have a 1993 civic si and a dead 1988 civic the 88 is my baby, it'll get a heart transplant next decade.......B16A the 93 is the workhorse until it's time for the legnum/family car/beast i fell in love with the mitsy's after my verada (R.I.P), converted to manual, lowered on 18's n then bye bye, was good but the legnum is going to be better... evo plus .5 displacement plus extra turbo= beast! just reading the specs is enough to make a decision to buy one n ive really enjoyed checking out all the cars and info on here, lots of spare time at work, i think ive read almost the entire site in abt a week, lolz, in the meantime hopefully ill learn some more about legnums n get to know all of you crazy people a little better ps: buzzpuppy is a crack up loved the thread about the comments ppl spurt out when they see a legnum RaZZa! UPDATE: here's the new car
hey, don't knock my toy, ever since ive had an 88 honda civic ppl been asking what's under the hood when it's stock, it has potential considering it's only got 72kw n it weighs under 900kg's now n ive kept up with commodores, skylines n basically anything else, that is until they get to their 3rd gear n the power difference becomes obvious but yea i still love my little old civic, that's my project n the legnum is gonna be the family car...if i ever get it and as for the workhorse (93 si) that's kept up with a magna vr-x all the way so yea not bad to just run up the k's n it gets abt 500km's for abt $45 petrol, lolz
yea honda's are pretty cool, maybe just a little addiction, ive only had 4 civics.... ill post some pics of my cars/past cars
Sure man! Actually..I think we had a past rides thread on the old forum...I might start one in the members rides.
ok, here's the pics, had to dig them up from everywhere.... this is the past... first there was a 1992 magna, it had a few scrapes n bruises, ended up having the right rear wheel sticking out of the guard the full tyre width n the opposite with the left side, lolz, but apparantly after i sold it it's been fixed n is still getting around sumwhere.... second, i don't know if it counts, an 85 civic, it's the dot in the background of the first pic, bought at an auction n sat at the front of the house n never moved third was the 1987 black civic in the first pic, was originally red, lolz, but someone sideswipped it n can't match faded red so it ended up black, lolz, it ended up blowing the engine, no oil, no water n needing to get to work is a bad combo, lolz fourth was the 1994 verada, blew the auto up on that n converted it to manual, had it lowered on 18's, beautiful car, went to blue mountains n you know how turn ur high beams off when another car is coming, well ALL the headlights went off n then corner n then spin, jump, crash....the engine still started after....write off fifth was the 1989 commodore which was swapped for the blown up civic, lol, the guys that swapped it thought they were giving me a raw deal, lolz, my question was you want to swap THAT for THIS??? ended up selling it 2 weeks later because still had the verada before it got written off
and here's the present line up.... sixth car is a 1988 civic, just had to have another one, went looking specifically for it, currently just lining up the parts, it's my project, in the first pic it's trying on it's new front bar, n that was my system, since removed n it's just sitting there waiting for a B16A n maybe a little later turbocharge it, way i see it, <900kg's+200Kw=fast and the seventh car is a 1993 civic Si, in the first pic of it, it was fully loaded and we got pulled over by police for it being too low, lolz
just one more "little" addition... this car is a pure drifter and it's my hobby until i get my 1988 civic on the road and/or get a legnum vr4
oh, it is battery powered, but it lasts about half an hour but unfortunately that's all ill be driving for a while, lmao
i can't wait to get my hands on my very own legnum, lolz, im already thinking about all the mods, spose to be a family car but it might be a money pit, lol
You know RaZZa, I FINALLY read this thread mate Good to see I'm keeping you entertained! Oh, and my big head (and it IS big) has a problem fitting into the Super. I should have picked something with a sunroof
