    Hi,

has anyone else been drooling over what's been announced at the Sydney Motor show this week?

Check out Autoblog for a good list of announcements with pics.

I'm loving the new Maloo as well as the Cobra falcon and the new Territory performance model.

Then there's the Mazda3 MPS Extreme (as if the standard MPS didn't have enough power going through the front wheels already)...

Performance cars are alive and well!!

    cheers

    Lee

There is a newspaper running a competition to win a Evo 10 and you have to put the entry in the box at the motorshow.

Hmmm, I might just have to go and check it out :D

Edit, What where Holden thinking with the tailights on the Maloo ? Yuck !!

What are you on about hawks?? :)

I think the tail looks good, although the whole aggressive look is probably a love or hate type of style.

the ve commodore wagon is almost perfect! I would have preferred it if it was based on the long caprice wheelbase though.

Bega is a bit far, even for me. Let me know if you are coming through Nowra and have 5 mins to spare so I can check your car out :)

I seriously hope that the HDT commodore for brockie, doesn't look like the one pictured in the autoblog, cause that just looks like ass. that would be an insult to the king. It still needs to look as good as it did in those days, and have a bit of vintage in it. Like a VH HDT commodore with the Gen IV in it, maybe even the LS7. mmmmm... 7000cc of power
Even better how about mitsubishi make a 7.0L TT V??? Legnum. Now that would be something...

Also why do you guys always get good shows, ours are so dull compared to those in Melb and Syd.

Smaller populations = less potential sales revenue = less money spent = crapper trade show ;)

you'd think they sacrifice a gain in displacement, and spend some time to get rid of those freakin pushrods! (and chuck another 3 camshafts in it...)

and yes, that HDT commy looks like a VE chassis with the VH parts bolted on.. doesnt work.
