It's the reversing sensors.
Those speaker looking holes are, well, speaker holes.
I have two sensors on my car, one of each corner, and a small (1x2cm) unit on my dash near my left knee that has a pic of a car and two lights.
Mine also has a Mitsubushi serial number on it. Will get pics in my lunch break.
