Who is going to WTAC? Me and 3 mates are heading up from Melbourne on the Thursday before the meet and heading back on the Monday after. Will be my first time attending. Here is the car that made this event a must see for me. Mazda 767B. And yes it will be driving on track.

Owner of this car and two of his friends all with street reg'd ex Le Mans cars.

Day 1 is for me to see/do/watch what I want (aka amateur photography day)
Day 2 is the day my mates tag along

This year will be different from all the other years. Sat is circuit racing and sun is drift only. Both days should be good.

The 2014 World Time Attack Challenge will be held on Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of October at Sydney Motorsport Park. Copy and pasted this directly from the website.

I think they are referring to the event as a whole with that statement. The Formula Drift Asia series finals are the only motorsport happening on the Sunday.

Sunday schedule:

Formula DRIFT Finals – morning sessions 9:00 – 12:00

Lunch Time Entertainment 12:00 – 12:30

Formula DRIFT Finals – afternoon sessions 12:30 – 17:15

Formula DRIFT Trophy Presentation 17:30 – 18:00

Just googled ARK motorsport R-32 to find out what happened to that team/car that missed out in 2012 when their car accidentally got sent to China instead of Australia.

I had been reading their build blog back then and was pretty keen to see how they would go, after all 'teh GTR can never be beaten'. In the end it was beaten by a dickhead crane operator (or dick shipping company) who put the container on the wrong boat.
