Hey Guys,

Would like to buy a Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust for the Legnum and was wondering how hard it is to purchase through Import Monster.
Anyone here actually go through them?
How easy was it?
is it a case of transfrering $$ into you account at import monster and they purchase it and then ship it to you?
Read through the whole site and still seems a little vague.

Anyone have a contact for Jesse Streeter?? Searched but only found people raving about him.. no details...
Cheers
Steve

Just as a heads up...for others considering...

I've ordered a new Fujitsubo Legalis R catback from Japan..
Through Jesse Streeter... A LOT cheaper than both Import Monster and especially locally!

Jesse: $1139 delivered The exhaust itself was $746 AUD
Import Monster $1408 approx
Locally: about $2400...really?!

Makes sense now!! No contest! Just have to wait for the car to arrive now lol

I know this isn't really the subject of this, but what is so special about these exhausts compared to just getting one made locally with whatever muffler you want?

Besides that it's a nice and clean finish ;)
By memory it's called a "Legalis" because I think it 92db (or something like that, under the defect loudness) and its not stupid loud. Hopefully someone will confirm but pretty sure that's why.

Its Japanese isn't it, how do their noise regulations compare to Australia?

The JASMA noise compliant ones are the quieter ones. I went with a Japanese one because you know what you're getting, which is not the case with custom made local jobs. You may get droning, you may not, quality of workmanship varies, etc. the Legalis exhaust is actually quieter at idle than a stock exhaust.

Pretty much what has been said above... plus I love the sound of the Legalis R
Custom jobs are a pain choosing the right sound.. and then there's the drone....

Very quick, Jesse doesn't mess around lol.
Basically from the time I emailed Jesse, Gave him the auction details off Yahoo Auctions, I paid for the exhaust, Transfer $$ into his Australian account,
It got delivered to him, he packed it (I'm assuming as it was oversize slightly for EMS shipping) gave me the shipping cost, transferred that amount again into his account, it was here in less than a week!!
Was about 2 weeks in total.
