VAGCOM cable is a cable used to communicate with vehicles manufactured by the Volkswagen Automotive Group.


Volkswagen vehicles also utilise ISO9141 which makes using these cables suitable for Mitsubishis.


To use this cable with Evoscan, you must ensure the VAGCOM cable uses an FTDI chipset.

Modifications required

To use the VAGCOM cable with a VR-4, you must open the cable up and bridge pin1 and pin 4 within the cable.
