ABS issues (whats this cut wire)

Hey

My abs doesnt seem to be working unless my brakes are really performing badley, there is an orange cable that has been cutt that i think belongs to the abs system, can anyone tell me what the deal is and how i can fix it.

I've never had ABS come on with the Legnums I've had/have.

How damn hard were you braking?

Don't know anything about the wire dude, maybe the peoples on here who actually know something might be able to help you out.

We need to know where the cable is to have an idea what/where it is from. A pic would be ideal. I only really have felt my abs kicking in when driving in icy conditions

That orange wire doesn't look stock, I haven't seen anything like it before. Pop the ABS box up and see where it goes.

Now when you say your brakes are bad, how exactly are they performing? If the ABS isn't working then all 4 wheels will lock up, but you'd most likely be complaining about the ABS light being on as well

If you have bad pedal feel, find it hard to stop at all or something similar then that has nothing to do with your ABS, the ABS only interferes if the wheels are starting to lock up.

ok sweet thanks guys just was curious about that wire
i find in my mums comodore the abs kicks in alot but in the legnum i havnt ever noticed it, no abs lights showing so i guees its just my poor brakes and braking.

See if they lock on dirt. Shouldn't if ABS is working.

thats coz commodore are shit, it wont take much for 205s to skid with 2000kg on top of them
