im a bit skeptical as he lists them as fitting all the cars,
im under the impression there different between modles,

try some amsoil oil,
or proma additive before investing $500 + fitting,

even a proper clean of the existing lifters may solve your problems

Hey Emanuel,

The guys at MEEK just laughed when I mentioned I was going to order new lifters from Kempys...

Can't remember exactly why though, but they didn't have much respect for them.

MEEK can do your lifters don't forget ! My engine has NO LIFTER NOISE AT ALL !

If you're spending ~$500 on aftermarket ones, you may as well get genuine!!

I agree with Brad - try Amsoil first. If lifter noise doesn't subside, THEN replace with new ones.

EDIT: Oops I meant Carsten. Sorry dude, giving Brad all the credit. Who's Brad anyway??

Hey guys has anyone heard of these and do they sound like they would
do a good job???

Looks like the price has come down to $245 for the set
http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.asp?id=162995652

I asked him about if there were a few different sets or just one

Relpy "Hi, yes there are 3 different OEM part #'s covered by this one redesigned lifter. All dimensions and function is exactly the same. Postage to Aus is $25 cheers!"

How can 3 different lifter types now be all the same?

I think that the guys that are telling you all the lifters are the same need to go back to school. I know from experience that the 4g15 and the 4g63 are very different and I think that the lifters would have to be stronger in the v6 and turbo 4. If they aren't then the 4g15 and the 4g63 would be slowed by the extra rotational mass that isn't needed every extra gram will sapp power that the 1.5l needs desperately!!
