I gotta say well done to the organisers on this one, thanks very much for the day. Even though they couldn't book the weather, the event was great.

Looking forward to next year!

The Galant/Legnum contingent (as seen by Brash's photo's anyway) but a few of my favs including Kristians RX7.

All I can say is GREAT organisation for the day. Although my Legnum wasnt ready for it, the display was great, and the weather JUST held off considering the forcast (15, shower and possible hail).

Here's the pics:

thanks guys for the contributions so far...

And for the record, I wasnt polishing a spotless car all day! the bottom half of the car was covered in mud, so i just used a waterless carwash to do a quick clean on it - Im pretty sure I only spent 20 minutes on it!

Well done to Kristian and the other organisers, I think they pulled it off really well and looked like a decetn crowd.

So here are a few of my photos (I wasnt there all day, and only had my camera with me for a short time so didnt get all of them).

The first batch are the 'other' cars:

This is a drift/track team that I designed the logo and website for (www.618motorsport.com.au plug plug!). The car looks great.

IMGP0762.jpg

Always had a soft spot for 4 door skylines.

IMGP0770.jpg

its a bloody p plater. When I was on my P's i was driving a 50kw auto KB laser hatch.

IMGP0771.jpg

white walls were the theme for the day. Loved seeing all these classics.

Who owns the sexual black Legnum with the gold GT-R style rims?

cheers

Lee

I'll take that as a compliment :p

Though the back needs to be lower...

Great to see a few VR4's out. Nissy introduced himself to me, though I can't remember the face right now... Waved to Simon(Gilly) as he was leaving, that was about it.

Awesome day overall, we took off at 12pm to watch the SpeedWeek coverage of the QLD round of Drift Australia at the Pier One Bar. Plenty of cars, plenty of people, and a lot less rain than expected!

Great pics guys, I can't believe Joel's Leggy looked clean :p (and sweet with those rims, bit better than the Territry rims :p )
By the time I realised it wasn't gunna rain again mine was too dry to chamios :(
Fantastic to see a few VR-4's there I think there was mine and 3 or 4 Leggies. Some really sweet old rides though.Joel, GT George had the drift on the telle he jammed in the engine bay, lol. Think he will do anything to draw a crowd, lmao
Really high praise to the organisers and the weather gods, they could have much crueler.
See ya all, and then some next year :)
