Are Evo air flow meters compatible? (MAF)

Hi guys.
Just wondering if anyone has tried to plug in a evo 5-9 air flow meter into the vr4 and A would it work and B would it work and flow better?

yes it plugs in,

no it wont work correctly, as the factory cpu is not tuned to work with it,

and probabilly no as its the same size as our one

the operating principles will be the same, the issue will be if there is a difference in the size of the un-metered portion of the AFM.

You would have to get one and compare. It COULD allow you to make some interesting AFR changes at WOT
