Hello all!

The tiptronic mode on my PFL Legnum has simply stopped working. Its as if it doesn't exist. If I'm driving and move the shifter over into tip mode, the car does nothing and the dash does nothing.

Any ideas?

I think there are 3 micro switches.
One for down.
One for up.
One to detect when you have moved the stick over to tip mode.
I'll bet the last one is not working.
When I don't move the stick over to Tip mode, my paddles don't work, and they're wired in parallel to the up/down switches.

Should I be looking on the shifter assembly itself or somewhere under the dash?

I had this issue with the missus 380 last year. Was the switch gear for the detente into tiptronic mode. Swapped out and all good. 2 days later was written off in a hail storm

Must have been one hell of a hail storm! Sorry to hear... I'll be taking my center console out tonight to have a look at what's going on. I recently replaced the shifter assembly, maybe I just forgot to connect something, although I though I was quite thorough. Keep all you posted!

Update: I took the center console out and was able to see the problem, the clip holding the harness in was broken so it just slipped itself off. I was able to get it back together and add a metal clip so it doesn't come loose again. Issue solved! Thanks, everyone for the help
