Hello all, having some transmission issues. If i don’t have my car warmed up for 10-15 minutes, occasionally putting it into drive immediately skips first and keeps it in second gear and won’t shift with the RPMs. I had a leak recently so replaced a couple trans seals and oil filter and was hoping it would also clear this but it hasn’t. I’m also reading to strictly use mitsubishi sp3, i used castrol sp3 after the seal replacement but surely it can’t be that different? Give me your thoughts please. Thanks

Will also note after it warms up it will kick into gear as normal, or if i drive it around for about 5 minutes are so.

There's a tonne of information on this already written up.
It sounds like your wave spring is split or broken but also my be an incorrect fluid level. You can only check this when oil is hot, car is level and engine in neutral or park.
On a cold morning mine holds 3rd for a second or 2 longer but it won't do it again.
