Battery light or alternator gone?

so I have this little light on my dash atm. tested the battery 12.2 and when running the altenator is 11.7

and if it is the altenator where can I get one in sydney asap as im taking the car up the coast Thursday afternoon

I am actually running a mivec fto alt but only 70amp. Ours are 100ampiirc. I have two spare.1 getting rebuilt and another second hand 1 of the wreck

Yeah to me its saying your alternator is not preforming like it should and will die soon and probably kill your battery.
Personally I'd discount the battery until the alternator is replaced so hopefully your battery is still good.

Yep figures should be mid ~13.5 iirc , that's what I see with my 120Amp unit ;-)
