We hav numerous threads on this, but not sure. The size of a wheel has little to do with brembo clearance . It's all about spoke design. Get the tyre shop to find out whether they fit an evo7-9

At 18x9 +38 you might have clearance problems with suspension before you have any problems with the guards, but even still you wouldn't need any widebody kits. Definitely go through the other rims/offset threads as soon as you can.

Edit - I'd trust Paul so disregard the suspension clearance comment haha.

Nah, 9+38 is sweet. Tim's wheels are 9+38
