We normally go new filter then e85 then 500-1000km and another new filter. The second filter picks up anything that dissolves in the tank. Some cars ok, others really needed it. E85=clean tank

Yep, that's what I did. Replaced it 3 weeks after tune but never cut it open. Wish i had tho

Recently had issues with my Z639 filters as running E85. Z528 got me out of trouble, but If running E85, definitely worth looking at an E85 filter setup.

What trouble are you having with the z639?

I use these filters and run e85, no issues to far, but i do change them often.

I had 2 clog up and restrict fuel. RYCO ones. Both less than 300kms on them. Got stuck on M7 in sydney and needed a tow. Changed it out and got it started again but within a week car wouldnt start well or get past 5psi boost. Changed back to Z528 and all running well again. Going to go to an E85 filter set up when TME is some time.
