how do we remove the clock?

ok guys, i need some help. i need to install a boost gauge and i have seen some photo's (including jasons snooze) that they have gauge installed where the clock is, under ther trapezoidal shap thing. how do we remove it?? do they just click off?

Just pull up the housing which is usually very tight and the clock comes up with it

Yeah it just requires some serious hand strength.

There are 2 clips (at the back) that go in into holes which are pointing towards the front of the car and the other 2 (the front) go into holes which are pointing downwards.

There's quite a bit of discussion elsewhere (I believe the dodgy clock repair thread) but basically yes, you push up against the forward lip of the cover over the clock. Start gently in case yours has been removed previously, but with some that have never been removed the cover is extremely firm and requires not insubstantial force.

I strongly recommend avoiding the use of tools or implements for this task, as that could precipitate unfortunate damage to the cover, clock or surrounding dash.
