Install and Remove Entertainment System

Anyone installed DVD units? I have 2 x 7inch Headrest screens and 2 x 9inch visor screens...I am considering that this maybe a "to bigga" job and I will have to go somewhere else and get done prof...does anyone know if the altenator has trouble powering these things?

Kev you don't need to worry about the alternator pushing enough charge through to offset the draw of such components - its really only once you start playing with 1000W amplifiers that power supply becomes a serious concern. Your decks and screens will be fine

To be honest, I think any stereo install can be done well by ANYONE as long as you have the time, patience and at least a basic understanding of what you're doing. If terms like positive and earth confuse you, maybe just pay someone else Otherwise I don't see why you couldn't have a crack at it yourself
