Hey All,
just wundering if anyone has every changed the back lit colour of there instrument cluster?

Yes it has been done - did you want the numbers or the needles changed? I've seen someone's signature picture with blue needles, looks pretty good in my opinion.

You can do one of two things - replace the bulbs with coloured bulbs, or you can get coloured sleeves for the normal bulbs. You can also change the colour of the air-con controls too, I believe there's a link in the "how to" section. There's probably other ways too, but it removes pulling part of the dash apart, and I can't be stuffed myself haha

I'd like to change mine to blue.. im sort of getting over seeing red on my dash..

these dont run normal bulbs to iluminate the cluster, i ripped mine apart on the weekend. it looks like two or three fluro bulbs, but they are not fluro. :s

i want to change my numbers to blue,
but if i cant just making the needles blue will have to do.
i could not work out how to get the needles off the dash..

buy a set of those ebay ones and probably you can pull the ones on our car..

i tried last week end, i could not work out how to release the needles off the cluster.

Just pull on the centre section really hard, they will lift up.

i put a fare bit of pressure on them last weekend, i was scared of braking them..

i already broke the little pin the fuel guage sits on when its empty. grrrrr
had to use black nail polish to hide the broken plastic
