Does anyone (read bradc/nz crew ) know what plates numbers were put on what years cars? In that i have a chassis number and want to find out what year the car is. The chassis number is ec5w-0200256 (its a half cut), which i guess either means it is a very early model or a very late model? thanks in anticipation BB
That chassis number is about 500 before mine. Mine is late 98 (first of the FL) so I would say you have a 98 model
Hey Guys, Punch the Vin into CAPS and it will tell you the manufacturing date. But being a 02 number, it would be a Facelift, probably a mid 98 build (Caps not on this PC so I cant look it up) Regards Gavin
hopefully it is a facelift model but can anyone with caps on their comp confirm this? i cant be assed d/ling the whole program, ill be here all night
If it's got a 2 I'm pretty sure it's facelift. Working purely off the cars I've bought, I think the final series from mid-2000 had a 5 where the 2 is. Which would make it no. 256 of the facelifts...
yep, anything starting with 02,03,04,05 is a facelift. Your car must be close to mine Mark, mine is 0200998
so are you getting the entire engine and gearbox too? I'm sure you could sell the gearbox in a second!
Jeezuz that is stupid! I wonder how big a beating the walls of that engine bay took to get that in there?!
LOL i would only be after the carriers and sensors from the cut, not necissarily the whole cut, but i reckon we could strike a deal if i got the whole half cut BP
Went and had a look at it with Gilly the other day, was indeed a facelift, white with black interior, but for those playing at home, it was auto It does have a 'carbon fibre' centre console though......
