KA band not being detected on my radar detector

Is anyone else using a radar detector here in Perth?

I have noticed that for the last month or so my valentine one is not properly detecting KA band ie multi nova frequency until I am practically right in front of them and only then it goes off but not the way it used to and all the lights flash and it makes this strange kinda sound? Will try to get a video of it.

On another note has anyone been using the trapster app for iPhone? Looks brilliant as it uses gps to alert u of those new fixed combo cameras.

Haven't noticed tbh, i've got an XR70 from Beltronics.

That said i haven't knowingly driven past any multi-novas recently either...

Arn't they illegal you underground racers??!

I've used trapster a bit. It's pretty sweet. But you rely on someone else tagging speed traps before you get to them.....
