Wanted VIC New alternator required

Yesterday with A/C the car began to splutter. I have a USB phone charge with voltage readout that began flashing, never seen that before. Headlights and indicators nqr too.
Best price so far is about 450 from mitsfix.
Any other sources or is that a fair price?

I had one rebuilt for sub $200 a few years ago. Was near Chequered Tuning - unfortunately that is all I can remember.
