it'll work ok, just primitive
Ok, well that is good news then was a little worried someone had done something very dodgy! Ill just plumb it all back together properly to stop the leaking tube... and probably get a 3 port and tune to do it properly next time you're down in SA

Well I found that both the hose with the red tip and one of the other hoses fitted to the T piece both have slits cut/torn in them..

Is it OK to replace the hose with the red tip? Just thought I'd check as I saw something while searching that suggested there may be a flow constrictor or something inside the hose... the cut is in the red painted area, so not causing a leak, just would prefer to fix any future issues now while I have that area pulled apart.

if its ok to replace is there any specific type of hose it should be replaced with (and the diameter)? looks like the guy who plumbed the festo fitting in just used fuel line, would something like that be ok?
