p plate info

Hi, im looking at buying a vr4 legnum i saw, mean looking car, 98 model, maybe even this afternoon, if all goes well, wondering if anyone knows about restrictions for l and p platers for my wife, cos im kinda sick of driving everywhere all the time, it would be great if she can get her license at some time. I think its a turbo of some description
. but thats all the info i have for now. also its a purple auto.

In VICTORIA - No P-plate drivers can drive a VR4, because of;
a) the power (according to the old legislation)
b) because of the fact the it's turbo-charged (under the new legislation)

np; although the pre-facelift auto fall under the old power to weight restriction, I doubt you could convince a cop or judge of that.
