Hi guys, been on here for ages just never bothered to post an intro before, figured it was about time before my first year of membership ran out.
(no need to post the welcome template, I have read it, and read it, and read it)

I bought the car just under a year ago after looking on the car sites for a suitable Legnum every day for months, I had to have one. I used to have a 4 cylinder TS magna on LPG, was a great car, but once I was off P-Plates I started looking for more power.

Bought this one, plain white, automatic, it came bog stock with just a double din pioneer head unit, poorly wired amp, boost gauge and a set of springs in a box in the boot that 'were too low' for the previous owner so he went back to stock. Didn't have much in the way of service history, but for the price I let that slide.

So naturally, the first thing I did when I picked it up was went out to QR the next day for happy laps, and the laps, they were happy :D

Since then I have loved Legnum ownership, and loved having all the guides and advice available on this forum (saved me a lot of money in paying someone else, and was really fun to do)

I have since done/added so far (chronologically):
Soldered dash clock
Ripped out amp
Auto trans cooler
LED ALL THE THINGS (Every interior light sans climate control screen and TCL switch is now led, working on those 2)
Trans flush
Front grille back to stock
AYC Bleed (and Diff and transfer case fluids)
Koni Sports Adjustable Shocks (Rear only due to leak)
600x250x76 'Cooling Pro'(Justjap) intercooler
Reversing camera
Raised front number plate
Evo 8mr bov
Fuel loop upgrade
Reversed gear shift direction
Turbotech manual boost controller (0.8Bar)
Tow hook cover
Walbro 255
All 4 lower control arms
New shoes (Upgrade from 215x45 on 17x7" to 235 on 17x8") WHITE!

Plans (By priority):
LCA Arms - DONE
Timing belt - DONE
Full spark plug related overhaul - DONE
Engine mounts - DONE
Front pipes - DONE (Apparently already have 2.75" catback)
High flow cat - DONE
Exhaust: Dumps - DONE!!!!

Strengthen auto box or Manual Conversion (Both seem to be about the same cost, but fewer ongoing costs from auto, also TCU tune+evo flappy paddles=awesome daily) BOUGHT A PRE STRENGTHENED AUTO BOX - any volunteers to help fit it?
Upgraded Injectors - ID1000s - DONE!!!!
Tune - DONE - 190awkW on e70 through an auto box
S-AYC Diff
Upgrade sway bars - Rear DONE - Front, to go in with trans upgrade
Slightly Lowered Coilovers - "Too high? What's that, I can't hear your hate all the way up here"

My new favorite shot (epic bulldog stance btw):

East Brisbane Bayside, in the Redlands, there are a few local galants I see around, but no Legnums

Heh, was just happy laps, didn't hit any of lakeside's immovable fence posts, so I'd say it went well :D
That car loves all the bends, but the skyline's around me would finally spool up on the straight and I could only keep up with the Gts-t's

Can I ask how you went about raising the number plate? Did you just drill new holes in the bumper a bit higher? Or some bracke that screws into the stock holes and then the plates screw into that?

Very similar, but I used a flat unbent strip, and attached it at the other side of the spacer. Mine is less elegant...

I usually have Ikea leftovers, but nothing as handy as those brackets.

And my furniture is usually very wobbly. I am beginning to see a correlation...
