[QLD] $30 for a spin at lakeside, CONFIRMED 12pm start, 22/5/2011

Hey guys, whose keen for this:

you pay: $20

you get:

15mins track time at lakeside (about 8 or 9 laps)
no helmets
passengers
no speed limit, go as fast or slow as you're comfortable with
bbq lunch
hang out with mates



why this is cool:
this would make for a good QLD catchup session
we can talk some smack
see how our cars actually go
find the weakness if you push it.


also, for $145, you can actually enter in the sprint session, but full rules apply, helmets etc
(compare this to $120 for a decent go kart session)


who's organising it? a member off auslancer, but he is also in the civic croud, so there might be some lancers and civic there.

NS.com have done it a few times. As long as you pay your $$ the good people at lakeside don't care. However, remember your insurance is void on a track and lakeside is unforgiving, so general common sense hopefully kicks in.

yes, helmets are optional
yes, lancer drivers will be there, who knows what theyll do lol
yes, youd think they'd be smart enough to not be tards
yes, we know they will probably not be, and will infact be tards
yes, insurance is void there. however you can always get towed to a car park
yes, im still going after being aware of all this lol

for me it will a nice introduction to driving on a track

Paulie, don't think I'm having a go at you mate, I'm just having a major LOL at those set rules. Mainly the "unrestricted" speed. I think I'll come anyway, but you can bet I'll be wearing my gear
