Facelift Manual 400hp VR-4 Legnum
Never heard of anything like a stronger transmission or a tme vr-4. Super VR-4's are just cosmetic only, with the seats and body kit and stuff. There is a small chance they come with 280hp facelift ecu's, but until Gavin and Steve pull their cars apart at the next wash meet, we won't know.

I chased up the seller of my car and he emailed me what his buyer emailed him about it, doesnt really say too much detail.

so did rally-art mess around with the bolt that controlled the pressure of the tranny fluid in the valve body which caused it to shift harder and faster at the cost of comfort to the passengers

I doubt they would have gone too overboard. I think the Supers were essentially an end of series run out model with a bunch of extras thrown in to convince people to buy them now and not wait for the newer series instead.

But there there can be a big difference in shifting between different these cars in general. Especially as components wear out and pressure drops. My car is not a super and it shifts fantastic, it's almost instant and I could not wish for better shifting. But then I've been in others that are totally different.

But if you are keen, there are points on the casing to hook up pressure gauges. The only problem is that you need to remove the valve body cover (and heaps of other stuff) to adjust the pressure, then re-assemble and check. If it's not right then do the job all over again.
