2. Start her up
3. pop your bonnet
4. Get under there, disconnect your airflow meter.

Does it still run on idle??????

I haven't tested it, and can't at the moment in fear of waking people up, but it should still idle without the AFM connected. It shouldn't need to read how much air is passing through it when the throttle is closed.

What's yours doing?

It should still run but as Brad said roughly. The ECU will continuously monitor the air flow for the AFM and adjust the mixture as needed.

yes idle is ok, but if you rev it you'll find you will use a lot more throttle to achive the same rev/speed. I did this when i first connected the AFC. Hope that helps?
