Hey guys Ive got my HKS SSQV Bov and when I went to install it I realised that the standard bov has two hoses coming into it, one coming down from the intake hose and the other one coming in the side.

The HKS one only has one intake hose. Can I just connect it into the one from the intake and blank off the other hose and run VTA for now or will that cause problems?

EDIT: Just googled it and turns out I need a recirculation fittings.

My question still stands though, would it cause any issues running VTA?

You block off the hose that shoots back into the intake on the front turbo.

Running VTA causes 2 things:

1) Causes car to run rich as ECU dumps fuel once it detects a loss of air (Every time you lift off)
2) VTA BOV's can cause unwanted attention from the federallies.

Other than that, you are laughing. Enjoy the sweet sweet sound of the SSQ

I run VTA with no dramas, runs a little rich but still gets good economy. I haven't tuned it yet which probably accounts for some of the running rich.
