hey, i was just wondering if anyone knew what was needed to get a 1 day permit to drive a car? what details etc does transport SA require?

In WA they just ask from and to places ... costs $12 and lasts 48hrs.
We just call a number and give them the details then they give u a recpeit number ... its hella easy.

Jarrad, you will need the following:
VIN
Details of car (eg month/year of manufacture etc)
A route you plan to take (just list the roads you will need to drive on)
Compliance paperwork (shouldnt need this but just incase)
Pretty certain thats all you need - to be on the safe side just bring all your paperwork.
I would recommend trying to get it for 3 days, that way you have time to get things sorted out if anything needs fixing up - 1 day permit is about $30, 3 day permit is $48.
